The F W Thorpe Group specialise in the design and manufacture of lighting equipment for the specification market.
The group comprises of five companies across the UK, manufacturing products that span the full spectrum of commercial and industrial lighting with many luminaires and controls at the cutting edge of energy saving technology. Heritage, retail and Architectural lighting markets are also well served with traditional and modern designs.
Approximately 500 people are employed groupwide and although each company works autonomously, our skills and markets are complementary. Our focus is for long term growth and stability achieved by developing market leading products backed by excellent customer service with products now being sold throughout the world.
The Group management team is passionate about developing the business for the benefit of the shareholders, employees and customers. More recently with arrival of the green agenda the group is demonstrating it’s commitment to future generations by investing in a program to offset not only the carbon produced in the production of lighting products within the group but also giving customers an opportunity to offset the carbon emitted during the life of group products.
